Older image: Be eco

A poster meant to be a satire to the widely spreading ecology trend which is encouraging all kinds of practices for protecting the environment.  I call it "the eco hype" and I find it strongly backed by intensive commercial speculations on the emerging markets. I personally believe that environmental protection should be a primary concern to corporations, gorverments and even to each individual to a certain degree. While I certainly like that ecological products are promoted, I rather doubt the intentions behind all these marketing strategies. In the end, it's all about selling yet another line of new products, that is money. Those who contributed the most to the global warming and various environmental issues are today becoming the prominent supporters of environmental protection campaigns. Kids learn from them a wide variety of "best practices" for living a "greener life". In particular, the poster is depicting the zealous ecology fans. So, the question is: are you Eco?
